Our client wanted to launch a web based gaming solution targeting young children, which would also be a platform for them to socialize and interact with peers across the globe. Also, they wanted to ensure that the solution allows for parental supervision and monitoring.
Solution:
Icreon designed and developed GalactoKidz.com, a virtual “space-world” offering a complete gaming experience for children of 6 to 13 years old.
The gaming environment represents a spaceship with games being built into various rooms of the spaceship having different themes and associated game(s). Each player upon registration is assigned an avatar and lives on-board the Mother Ship in a personal room called PicoPod. They can create and manage their profile; search for and make friends; track their progress in various games; send and receive virtual gifts, and have the option to publish articles, poems and images etc. to nurture their creative talent.
The web admin can monitor all the activities in the site and control many things like multiple subscription packages, game tracking, points earned, payment history, chat logs, videos etc.
The game is a haven promoting creativity, offering arcade style and educational games, and allowing interaction with alien friends. For children, the gaming site is an ever-expanding world that teaches them logical reasoning, practical math skills, money management and creative writing skills in an innovative, interactive and fun manner. In addition, they learn to compete, collaborate and socialize with children from around the world anywhere, anytime.
