Star Movies

STAR Movies wanted to re-create the magic of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters on the web and were looking to revamp their current website to a smart, trendy, rich in user interaction and Web 2.0 in its look and feel website.
Solution:
For weaving an extravagant online world of Cinema, Icreon designed and developed a website that is contemporary in look, feel and style; includes all the latest web trends; yet is in sync with the guidelines of the channel packaging.
An important feature integrated in the solution was to enable viewers to set reminders for their favorite movies. Another USP of the website is the integration of a customized video player through which viewers can easily watch trailers/videos of the movies; and registered members can rate and comment on the videos.
Some of the features of the solution include:
- Highlight of the Month which promotes prime time movies of the month
- STAR Struck promotes the actor of the month
- Movie Gallery provides synopsis year of release, director, actors and genre of the movie
- Download section to enable viewers to download wallpapers of the movies in different resolutions.
- Schedule section which displays the schedule of movies on a daily and weekly basis.
We created a backend admin to enable administrators to easily update the content on the website.
Result:
Icreon started small with creating microsites for STAR World, an affiliate of STAR India. Today, we have managed to establish a long term relationship with STAR as their development partner. This reiterates our philosophy “to foster on-going relationships and transform them into long-term partnerships”, as is exemplified in the “EON” in Icreon.
