Proposition:

Star World is a reckoning name in the entertainment sector. To keep pace with their viewers, a generation of tech savvy people - they wanted a strategy to help them increase their presence in online media, and open up an avenue of interaction with them.

Solution:

Icreon suggested Star World to promote their prime time shows via web.

To begin with, we conceptualized, designed and developed micro sites of the most popular shows on the channel. These micro sites provide viewers with first hand information about the shows and characters, and lets them take a sneak peek at the episodes/ seasons gone by so that they can catch-up on what they missed in previous seasons.

Viewers are also provided with the option to download authentic wallpapers of their favorite shows easily without any registration. Additionally, for many of these prime time shows, contests are run for increasing user interaction. In addition, we integrated the feature of providing mobile alerts to users, upon registration on the website.

Icreon developed micro sites and Facebook applications for some of the most popular shows including Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Prison Break, Lost, Glee, Lie to me and more.

Result:

The web presence increased the public appeal and interest of viewers about the shows like Desperate Housewives and Lost. Through the solution, Star World was now able to now reach a greater web audience.
