The Robin Hood Foundation

Strategic platform development for New York's foremost anti-poverty organization

the organization

Robin Hood Foundation is New York's largest anti-poverty organization. Since its inception in 1988, the foundation has raised more than $2 billion in donations for New York citizens. The foundation remains committed to ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to organizations that help New Yorkers who need it most.

the challenge

With internal communication being a major factor in the foundation's day-to-day operations, the organization found itself in need of an internal network that would allow employees to communicate across teams and within leadership circles. While the foundation had tools in place to handle these functions, the organization struggled with user adoption - rendering the platform partially useless.

Above all, Robin Hood was looking for a partner that could provide strategic insights that would allow them to garner increased employee usage of the technology.

Leveraging digital to help eliminate poverty in New York

With a large portion of Robin Hood's participation coming from within the company, the revitalized software is an active tool in helping the organization achieve their core mission

the solution

In working with Robin Hood, Icreon's main purpose was to boost employee engagement through strategic digital guidance. After gaining insights from the leadership team and employees, Icreon would work on implementing software fixes to address the most critical needs. Then, Icreon and Robin Hood works out a plan to enable the socialization and adoption of the evolved intranet.
