Unifying the customer experience from interest to fulfillment, creating direct-to-consumer sales models while maintaining partnerships
Sabon is an international manufacturer and retailer of nature-infused bath & body products. Focused on providing healing experiences for the mind & body, their products utilize the unique combination of nature’s ingredients and liberal fragrances. What started out as a product line has transformed into a global presence of 130+ worldwide stores.
To deliver on the demand and high volumes of traffic that retail seasonality brings - Sabon was seeking a partner to handle the maintenance and improvements of their digital sales processes within an existing Magento platform. In addition, Sabon was looking to re-engineer their current web application to include new functionalities on both the back and front ends.
Specifically, they wanted the tools to enable seamless entry of new product SKUs, efficient product return processes, and automated content delivery. On top of it all, the solution would require a massive data migration from the existing server to a new one.
Working closely with Sabon, Icreon identified system infrastructure as one of the primary reasons for poor performance of the website. As Magento is a highly customizable platform capable of handling large volumes of traffic with ease, the recommendation Icreon put forth was to build atop the current instance utilizing custom-built integrations.
Several custom APIs and modules were built to create transparency amongst third party data sources centralized in the Magento platform. To automate processes such as product returns, entering new product SKUs and ad content management, the system seamlessly integrates with platforms such as UPS Returns Label and Dynamic Yield.
With multiple payment modes, customers have flexibility in payment methods including PayPal, major debit/credit cards, and accumulated loyalty points.
Multi-layered discount structures and an internal content recommendation engine organically ties customers further into Sabon.
